Eberspaecher has the most comprehensive range of independent and compact products available in today’s marketplace. Offering close attention to detail and technical design, Espar’s Airtronic and Hydronic heaters lead the industry in excellence in supporting a variety of applications with reliability and designed to cut vehicle idling times in cold weather. These heaters have become one of the most popular money saving products available in the heavy-duty truck market today. Typical savings using an Airtronic S2 can be as much as $6,000 per unit per year based on current fuel prices.
Eberspaecher heaters operate as miniature furnaces that are independent of the engine, utilizing the unit’s own small engine and batteries to produce heat.
Airtronic heaters draw in either cool room air or outside air, heat this up and then deliver it to the interior of the vehicle.
Hydronic units heat the coolant, then circulate it to warm the engine and distributed through the vehicle’s own heat exchangers to near operating temp. The units can be sized to provide auxiliary heat for other critical fluids.
Updated for 2019, the new Heaters use the pioneering CAN bus technology, are equipped with automatic altitude adjustment and a new brushless motor extends the service life to 5,000 hours. This new motor, a modern control system and the use of the latest metering pump technology also improve the acoustics
Using Controllers, heaters can be switched on to begin engine preheating at preset intervals, allowing operators to go directly to work upon arrival.
