The Kenworth evaporator box or HVAC assembly houses the truck’s A/C Evaporator , Heater core, Expansion valve, Thermostatic Switch, Electronic Actuated Fresh Air Door, high-flow SPAL blower motor and a Receiver Drier (where applicable).
OEM plastic boxes often crack or fail over time, many owners upgrade to heavy-duty aftermarket units.
